How long does an Avéli procedure take?
The procedure (along with providing local anesthesia) will take approximately one to two hours to complete. This time will vary based on the amount of cellulite to be treated and your personalized consultation with Dr. Parkins.
How long is the downtime after the procedure?
Revelle Aesthetics developed a clinical study and found that most patients returned to normal activities within 24 to 48 hours. Some bruising and soreness is to be expected for the first few days after the procedure.
How quickly will I see improvement in my cellulite?
Once swelling and bruising subside, the results of your Avéli procedure should be visible. One month post-procedure you should start to see the effects of the procedure.
How long will the results last?
Since the septa bands are released during the procedure, they can’t grow back, making the results long lasting. After three months post-procedure, participants in the clinical study demonstrated a reduction in the appearance of their cellulite.
